Charles W. "Chuck" Hill

CHAZY — Charles W. "Chuck" Hill, 39, of State Route 9, Chazy, died in Peru. He was born in Chicago, Ill., Dec. 20, 1972, the son of William M. Hill and the former, Jacqueline L. Simpson.

Charles was a local self employed contractor. He enjoyed welding, camping, motorcycles, old cars, traveling, and buying and selling on Craigslist and eBay.

Chuck will be missed dearly. He will be remembered as a very giving individual who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Survivors include his fiance, Tammy Brown of Chazy; Tammy's daughters, Stephanie Brown of Chazy, and Courtney Brown of Chazy; three siblings, Mike Hill and his wife Susan of West Plains, Mo., Elizabeth Bisoux and her husband Bob of Mountain View, Mo., and Alice Hill and companion Phil Colley of Winona, Mo.; nephews, Nick Golinski and his companion, Victoria, and Patrick Hill; nieces, Katherine Burch, and Margaret Willbanks; one great-niece and two great-nephews; lifelong best friend, Troy Decker of Salem, Ark.; and many other family and close friends, including, Arnold Brown, and Barry and Missy Guilbo.

He was predeceased by his father, William M. Hill; mother and step-father, Jacqueline LaRue (Simpson) Hill VanDyken and Bill VanDyken; and one sister, Katherine Hill.

A celebration of Chucks life will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Road, Mooers.
