COOPERSVILLE — Dale Reynolds, 68, of Mason Road, Coopersville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., Dec. 13, 1943, a son of the late Kenneth P. and Sadie (Stafford) Reynolds.
Dale was a third generation Well Driller in the area for many years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's and St. Patrick's parishes for many years. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World and of the Mooers Good Fellowship. He married the former Eleanor Thompson of Champlain on Feb. 3, 1973 at St. Joseph's Church in Coopersville.
Dale's loving family includes his wife of nearly 40 years, Eleanor Reynolds of Coopersville; his children, Kenneth R. Reynolds and wife Nicole of Portland, Ore., Roberta M. Gonzalez and husband Tony of Altus, Okla, and Deborah L. Reynolds of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; his grandchildren, Connor and Kaitlyn Reynolds, Erika and Alex Meseck, Sierra, Trystan and Eowyn Gonzalez, and Mikayla and Madison Reynolds-Penson; his brother, Donald Reynolds and wife Ann of Plattsburgh; and his sisters, Sally Brockington and husband Earrold of Alpharetta, Ga., Carol Ladd of Chazy and Linda Phillips and husband Jak of Bayshore, Long Island. Several nieces, nephews and his favorite dog "Freckles" also survive.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm St., Champlain, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at St. Joseph's Church, Mason Road, Coopersville, N.Y. with Rev. Gerald Cerank, celebrating the mass. Interment will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Coopersville.
