---- — Peru School Board to meet Tuesday
PERU — The Peru Central School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the district’s Community Room, adjacent to the main entrance to Peru High School.
An executive session associated with particular personnel matters will take place immediately following the 6 p.m. start, with the regular meeting reconvened at about 7 p.m.
Agenda items include a briefing from the Positive School Environment Team, discussion on restructuring the Leadership Team and an examination of data pertaining to substitute-teacher time.
The session is open to the public.
Clinton Co. Legislature to convene Wednesday
PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Legislature will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Legislative Chambers, located on the second floor of the Clinton County Government Center, 137 Margaret St.
Among the resolutions up for action are: authorizing the acceptance of the Hazard Mitigation Program Grant; approving the Clinton County Investment Policy for 2013; and approving appointments to the State Open Space Conservation Advisory Committee.
The public is welcome.
Public input invited at NCCS budget sessions
CHAMPLAIN — Northeastern Clinton Central School District will hold three informational discussion meetings to talk about the upcoming 2013-14 school budget.
The sessions, all to start at 7 p.m. and covering the same information, are slated for: Mooers Elementary School on Jan. 14; Rouses Point Elementary on Jan. 16; and NCCS High School on Jan. 22.
Input from parents and community members is welcome.
