ASHLINE - A Mass of Christian burial for Harold D. "Bud" Ashline, Jr., 87, of Lake Street, who passed away peacefully, Thursday, Nov. 8th, was celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 10th at St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point. Rev. Raymond Moreau, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, Chazy, celebrated the mass, and was assisted by Deacon Noel Hinerth. Altar Servers were Peggy and George Rivers and organist was Buffy Little. Bud's children Kathy Goyette, John Ashline, Keith Ashline and Harold "Hap" Ashline placed the pall on his casket. His wife, Eileen, placed the crucifix. The gifts were presented to the altar by Bud's grandchildren, Heather and David Ashline and Ashley Goyette. Pallbearers were Bryan Moore, Bruce Gaudette, David Ashline, Mark Goyette, Robert St. John and Ed Gelineault. Interment with full military honors followed mass in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Coopersville. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake St., Rouses Point, NY.
