With the Village of Lake Placid and the Adirondack Mountains in the background, Jon Lundin, the communications director for the Essex County Visitors Bureau, feels that the outlook for the summer is good. He said that their close proximity to major eastern shore cities will attract visitors to the Olympic Village.
