PLATTSBURGH — The Adirondack Timberjaxx are the latest team to get a crack at the Plattsburgh Cardinals.
The defending champion Cardinals ran their unbeaten record in the Champlain Valley Baseball League to 10-0 last Sunday with a 21-1 and 17-0 sweep of the Fourth Ward A’s.
The Timberjaxx. meanwhile, had their best day of the season thus far with a 9-4 and 5-0 sweep of Loreman’s Royals in Plattsburgh.
Adirondack (3-7) hosts the Cardinals today at noon in Tupper Lake in one of four twinbills on the schedule.

Judd tossed a four-hitter, struck out four and did not walk anyone as the Timberjaxx completed a sweep of the Royals with a 5-0 victory in Game 2.
