PLATTSBURGH — Craig Bujold rapped out two hits, including a 2-run homer, Wednesday night as the Fourth Ward Cardinals recorded a 9-3 win over the Clinton County Mariners in nonleague baseball action.
Diavalo Fletcher and Wayne Wilkins each added a single and double for the Cardinals of the Champlain Valley Baseball League. Adam Porter also doubled in support of winning pitcher Gary Duquette.
Frank Buksa and Jordan Bezio led the Mariners with two hits apiece, with Buksa getting a double.
Matt Leta also doubled, while Kyle Rascoe, Aaron Tenbuuren and Brett Bosley added singles.
The losing pitcher was Jordan Keysor. Matt Seymour, Alex LaFountain and Josh Powers also saw pitching duty for Clinton County.
