---- — Wine Festival to benefit area museum
PLATTSBURGH — The Champlain Valley Transportation Museum is putting on its fourth-annual Champlain Valley Winter Wine Festival from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Legends Bistro in the Comfort Inn.
The event showcases the region’s specialty wine, food and restaurants. It includes a Grand Tasting and Silent Auction from 4 to 7 p.m. and a Wine Dinner from 7 to 9 p.m. The tasting and auction cost $25, and the dinner is $75, which includes a $35 donation to the Champlain Valley Transportation Museum and Kids’ Station. A Wine Dinner and Grand Tasting special package is also offered, for $90.
