PLATTSBURGH — "Abbey Road" is tonight's offering of Tomorrow Never Knows, a Beatles tribute band.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall, Plattsburgh State.
"We started learning Beatles' albums in their entirety," said Michael Pedersen of Tomorrow Never Knows. "We hit with such great success, we kept that concept for our shows to do entire albums."
At the Strand Theatre last September, the tribute band performed two albums: "Rubber Soul" and "Revolver."
"We picked up 'Abbey Road' and 'Let it Be,'" Pedersen said. "For our next show, we're doing 'Abbey Road' plus 20 more songs from 'Please Please Me' and 'Let it Be.' It's a benefit for the Elmore SPCA. Initially, we were doing a benefit for Patrick Gallagher, a close friend of mine. His family directed all donations to the Elmore SPCA."
