"I, Claudia," the story of a 12-year-old girl whose divorced father is getting remarried, is about to enter puberty, and, on top of all that, has a school science project due, continues at The Segal Centre for the Performing Arts at the Saidye until April 13. Avril Lavigne comes back to the Bell Centre April 2. Tickets range from $39.50 to $54.40.
Joe Jackson returns from the '80s with a show at Metropolis April 2. Tickets cost $42.50.
Les Grands Ballets Canadiens enjoys a busy spring with a world-premiere production choreographed by Ohad Naharin of the Batsheva Dance Company April 3, 4, 5, 10 and 12. Next is "Madame Butterfly" with guest company the Houston Ballet from May 1 to 3. Then it's time for Classic Balanchine from May 22 to 24 and 29 to 31. Ticket prices vary; all at Place des Arts.
