Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Hornets win for second time in two days

PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh High won its second Northern Athletic Conference swim meet in as many days, defeating AuSable Valley, 101-68, Tuesday.

Matt Evans led the Hornets with two individual wins and was a part of two winning relay teams. He captured victories in the 100 freestyle and the 50 freestyle.

He teamed with Nick Prenoveau, Nate Leopard and Mike Torner to finish first in the 200 freestyle relay. Leopard, Prenoveau and Evans joined Spencer Hall to win the 400 freestyle relay.

Rounding out victories for Plattsburgh High included Nathan Emery in the 100 butterfly, and Guarav Sheni in the 100 breaststroke.

Hank McCormick and Ben Ford each won three events for the Patriots.

Those two, along with Gavin Friedrich and Keiran Kilburn, won the 200 medley relay.

McCormick finished first in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. Ford earned victories in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke.
