TUPPER LAKE — The Franklin Academy boys' track and field team won the 2010 Section X Championships by scoring in every event but winning only one.
This year, the Huskies won 11 events for their second straight title with a total score of 203. Ogdensburg, by contrast, took second with 88.
The Canton girls' team, third in 2010, edged Franklin Academy and Tupper Lake for the title. The Huskies, champions last year, finished second, and Tupper Lake, third.
Austin Perry took first in four events for the Franklin Academy boys. He won individual events in the 800, long jump and triple jump. He teamed with Doug Fitzerald, John Picaro and Rourk Marlow to win the 1,600-meter relay.
Conor Gordon and Harvey Smith took three firsts for the Huskies.
Smith captured victories in the 100, 200 and 400.
Gordon won the 1,600, which featured a one-two-three finish by Franklin Academy. Morgan Marlow finished second, and Corey Lamere, third.
Gordon also took first in the 3,200, with Morgan Marlow finishing second.

The Franklin Academy girls finished second despite just two first-place finishes. The Huskies scored in all but two events.
Rebekkah Bond broke the school record in the steepelchase, finishing in 7:33.4. The old record was held by Kaylie Lamica, who ran a 7:40.5 in 2010. She qualified for the state meet on June 11.
The Huskies' team of Emily Hutchins, Morgan Bronner, Justina Cositore, Charlene Scott captured first in the 3,200-meter relay.
Bond had two second-place finishes in the 1,500 and 400 hurdles as well.
Kyla Kenyon had a standout day for the Tupper Lake girls' team.
Kenyon won the 100 and 400-meter hurdles, the 400 and teamed with Hannah Klossner, Kristin Bickford and Amanda Moeller for a top finish in the 1,600-meter relay.
Klossner added a win in the high jump and a second in the 800.
