Dragoon, Welch bowl 300 games
CHAMPLAIN — Dan Dragoon bowled his first 300 game as part of a 796 series for Bowl Mart Prow Shop on Oct. 22. He carries a 205 average.
The next evening, Chris Welch, who holds a 202 average, bowled a 300 game for Valley Ignition, finishing with a 706 series.
PYH Learn to Skate set for Sunday
PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh Youth Hockey’s Learn to Skate program will start Sunday at 10:15 a.m. at the Plattsburgh State Field House.
Players not yet registered may do so Sunday morning.
Zumba Fitness
Party scheduled
for Nov. 10
CHAMPLAIN — There will be a Zumba Fitness Party to benefit the Champlain/Mooers EMS on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 6-7:30 p.m.
There will be free blood pressure checks, give aways and a 50/50 raffle at the party, which will be held at Time After Time Reception on 127 Elm St.

Nye selected to
All-CSAC team
ASTON, Pa. — Emma Nye, a 2010 graduate of Keene, was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference First-Team for women’s soccer.
Nye is a junior who plays midfield/forward for Marywood University.
She finished the season with 13 starts, while scoring eight goals and assisting on five others for a total of 21 points.
This is Nye’s second First-Team honor. She was also selected to the team as a freshman in 2010.
Saranac Booster Club meeting
