The Malone USBC Association will hold its annual meeting at at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 22. All league officers and board members are asked to attend.

NCCS announces parking restrtictions
CHAMPLAIN — Northeastern Clinton parents dropping off and picking up athletes from practice must use the high school and middle school parking lots in the front of the building. Any athletes driving themselves to practice must park in those lots.
Barracks hosting Shaddie tourney
PLATTSBURGH — The Barracks will hold a Shaddie Hawkins Tournament starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday. Players will play in threesomes. This is a one-man scramble from the ladies tees with handicaps divided by 3. Entry is $25, which includes skins. This tournament is open to members and non-members; non-members will be charged $30 for green fees and cart. Sign up at the Barracks Club House, call Mike Dodds at 593-2792 or email golf0069@aol.com.
North Bowl sign-up Aug. 28-29
PLATTSBURGH — The North Bowl Junior Bowling Program 2012-13 winter bowling season will start shortly. League sign-ups will be held at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 28 and 29 at North Bowl.
A Youth 9-Pin tournament will take place at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 30. The Junior Bowling Program will start on Sept. 8 and run for 30 weeks, ending in April 2013. Youth league members bowl on Saturdays at 9 a.m. The weekly cost is $7 for Bumpers and Bantams, $9 for Preps and $10 for the Scholarship Jr. Mj. Sr. league. North Bowl provides youth bowlers with bowling shoes at no cost during league play.
Each member is required to purchase a membership in the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) at a cost of $17; this is a one-time purchase per season. With the purchase of this membership, each bowler will receive a bowling shirt and be eligible for additional awards from USBC.
The Junior Bowling Program is divided into four divisions: Bumpers (up to age 6), Bantams (6 to 8), Preps (9 to 12), and the Scholarship Jr. Mj. Sr League (13 to 20).
