Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

WELLS — Jesse Shaughnessy scored 31 points as Schroon Lake defeated Wells, 89-42, in Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference boys' basketball Friday.

Shaughnessy recorded a triple-double with 13 rebounds and 12 assists, to go along with seven steals.

Ian Williams added 23 and Uriah Harvey 11 for the Wildcats, ranked 14th in the state. Schroon Lake (12-1, 11-0) held a 50-22 lead at the half.

Jake Earley tossed in 24 points to lead the Indians (2-7, 2-7). Ben Brenan also hit in double figures with 12.

CHAZY — Jake Courcy poured in 26 points, including a trio of 3-pointers to power the Panthers (6-3, 6-3) past the Eagles (5-8, 5-6). Nathan Tabor added 16 points, with three 3-pointers, for Crown Point, which hit nine 3-pointers in all.

Hayden Guay led Chazy with 15 points — all coming on 3-pointers. Cody Toohill added 14 points and five assists, Brandon Laurin 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and Matt Stalker seven rebounds. The Eagles connected on 10 3-pointers.
