ST. REGIS FALLS — Michael Boyea and Erik Fleury had big games Friday night to power Chateaugay to a 62-44 win over St. Regis Falls in a physical Northern Athletic Conference boys' basketball game.
Boyea finished with 25 points, including 15 from the foul line, and added four steals. Fleury, meanwhile, tossed in 18 points, including four 3-pointers, to go along with 11 rebounds and four assists.
Michael Trombly chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds for the unbeaten Bulldogs (17-0 overall), who held a 25-16 lead at the half before scoring 20 points in the third.
Caleb Green and Timmy Wheeler tallied 14 points each for the Falls.
Chateaugay, ranked fourth in the state, plays next Friday against Madrid-Waddington with possibly the East Division championship on the line. The Bulldogs, who beat Madrid-Waddington earlier in the season, have just the one league game remaining, while the Yellowjackets have three.
