Effie Mayhew of Wilmington, Vt. reeled in a new LCI Derby record Atlantic salmon to achieve the first Coldwater LCI Lady of the Lake award. Weighing in at 11.42 pounds, this salmon is not far off from the 12.65 Lake Champlain record.

Since Mayhew's salmon was released alive, it may be caught yet again next year at a Lake Champlain record weight!

All three Lady of the Lake awards are earned by acquiring the most points from a single fish caught by a female angler caught within each of the Coldwater, Coolwater, and Warmwater Divisions during the LCI Father's Day Derby presented by Yamaha.
