Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

CANTON — Morgan Marlow won two races and helped win a relay as Malone's Franklin Academy took first place in the boys' competition at the fourth Northern Athletic Conference indoor track and field meet of the season.

The Huskies accumulated 164 points at St. Lawrence University. Ogdensburg (129.5) took second, and Potsdam (96.5) was third.

Kylee Disotelle and Brandy Allen led the Franklin Academy girls to a second-place showing (107 points), and Tupper Lake took fourth (50).

Marlow ran a 4:38.9 to finish in front of teammate Corey Lamere in the 1,600 meters, and he won the 3,200 in 10:28.9. Marlow and Lamere were both part of Franklin Academy's winning 3,200 relay team, and Lamere also placed first in the 1,000 with a time of 2:47.

Doug Fitzgerald claimed the 600 in 1:28.8.

Josh Clement and Randy Charland earned Tupper Lake's three points with top-10 finishes in the 1,000.

Disotelle won the 55 hurdles for the Franklin Academy girls, crossing the line in 9.4 seconds. Allen was fastest in the 3,000 with a time of 12:11.3. The Huskies also captured the 1,600 relay in 4:37.2.

Hannah Klossner spearheaded Tupper Lake with a victory in the high jump (5 feet) and a second-place showing in the 300. Samantha Ormsby won the triple jump with a leap of 21 feet, 2½ inches.
