PERU — Alyssa Leonard put on a show for the Beekmantown Eagles on Tuesday as she captured first in every event and in the all-around to help the Eagles defeat Peru, 151.90-147.75, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference gymnastics.
Leonard had an 8.5 on the vault, 7.8 on uneven parallel bars, 9.25 on the floor, 33.55 in the all-around and tied with her sister, Erica, with an 8.0 on the balance beam.
Beekmantown received a strong showing from Lydia Gricoski, who finished fourth in the all-around with a 29.7. Erica Leonard took sixth with a 28.80.
Peru was led by Lexi Trombley's second-place finish in the all-around with a 31.25. Molly Lawliss had a strong third-place finish with a 30.8, and also had a personal best on the floor with a 9.05.
