NCGC cancer fund golf tourney today
ROUSES POINT — Twenty-six teams will compete in this year’s North Country Cancer Fund Golf Tournament today at the North Country Golf Club. All participants are asked to be at the course by 10:30 a.m. to register and pick up their gifts. There will be a shotgun start at 11 a.m.
There will be hole-in-one prizes on all par-threes, courtesy of Parker Chevrolet, as well as other prizes on the course. Dinner will be served after completion of the tournament and all awards, prizes and an auction will take place. Team walk-ons are welcome up until the start of the tournament. All money raised will go to the local community for families that have a loved one with cancer.

BYC baseball, softball camps cancelled
BEEKMANTOWN — The Beekmantown Youth Commission Baseball and Softball Camps scheduled for July 2 through 6 have been cancelled. Those who have registered for these camps will be reimbursed. Those individuals can do so at the Town Hall Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
