WEST PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh Wholesale/Big Earl’s/Buck’s, G & G Tire and Shumway Insurance have wrapped up second-half championships in the Adirondack Slo-Pitch League and will look to continue their momentum heading into the playoffs.
Plattsburgh Wholesale/Big Earl’s/Buck’s ended up winning the A Division with a 14-2 record and a three-game advantage over their nearest pursuers.
Kneucraft Fine Jewelry & Design and T. Maliniak Masonry were next with 11-5 records, while Legion Post 1619 was 10-6 and perennial A Division champion Labatt Blue, 9-7.
G & G Tire captured the B Division with a 13-3 mark, one game better than runner-up Handy Dan D. Home Improvement’s 12-4 record.
Loreman’s/Cadyville Auto was third at 11-5 and Latinville’s/CV Fitness fourth with a 10-6 record.
Shumway Insurance tasted defeat for the first time in the second half this past week but still compiled a 15-1 record to win the C Division by three games.
Wendy’s/Richard’s Grocery was in second place with a 12-4 mark, followed by Girard’s Electrical Shockers at 11-5 and North Line Utilities/VFW Post 309 at 10-6.
