Assistant coach Tara LaFlesh helped Bangor pick up its second win as three players hit for double figures. Quinton Garrand led the attack with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Jon Benware scored 14 and Mike Adams 10.
Jean's was led by Bryant Reome who tossed in 21 points.
St. John Bosco 73
Maranatha 30
St. John Bosco had four players hit double figures en route to its third win against no defeats. Alex LaFlesh led the winners with a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds, followed by Chris Picaro with 16, while John Picaro and Corey LaMere each added 14.
Maranatha got a double-double its own from Tyler Childs, who scored 17 points and hauled down 11 boards.
Splinters
Bangor and St. John Bosco played to a rarity in splinter basketball action, a 16-16 tie. Splinter rules allow for a single two-minute overtime, and each team scored once in the extra frame. Mike Gordon led Bosco with eight points, followed by Ricky Cramer with four, and Ashley Sullivan with two. Gage Gardner's two points were scored in overtime. Bangor was led by Cole LaFlesh with seven (two in overtime), while Scott Benware added five and Ernie Munford tallied four.
