BOLTON — Bo McKinley scored a career-high 39 points and Nathan Gay chipped in with 25 Monday night to spur Westport on to a 70-44 victory over Bolton in Mountain & Valley Athletic Conference boys' basketball.

Westport (2-0, 2-0) broke it open in the third quarter, outscoring Bolton 26-9 with Gay netting 13 and McKinley, 11, in the period. Matt Smith, Bolton's six-foot-four center, ran into foul trouble in the third while Westport stepped up its defensive effort.

Dom Pfau scored 18 points and Smith, 11, to lead Bolton (0-3, 0-3).

NORTH CREEK — Bolton's Danielle St. Amour netted 18 points in a non-league victory over Johnsburg.

Dominique-Jean Servelli added 11 points for the Eagles.

Johnsburg (2-5) was led by Cassandra Prouty's eight points, and Mikayla Glode picked up 10 rebounds for Bolton.
