CHAZY — Going into the fourth quarter, the Chazy girls' basketball team held just a one-point lead over Willsboro.
Sagan Trombley and Devin Latremore combined to score nine points in a decisive fourth quarter, sending the Eagles to a 36-32 MVAC victory Tuesday.
"We pulled through," Chazy coach Karissa House said.
Trombley finished with a game-high 12 for Chazy (3-0). Latremore and Olivia Seymour each chipped in eight points.
Serene Holland led Willsboro with eight points. Alicia Mahoney added six.
"Overall, it was a good team effort on both sides," House said.

SCHROON LAKE — Jocelyn Bowen was tough on both ends of the court Tuesday.
Bowen scored a game-high 21 points and had seven steals to lead Schroon Lake to a 47-29 victory over Elizabethtown-Lewis in MVAC girls' basketball.
After a high-scoring 19-14 first quarter, Schroon Lake took a 30-18 lead by holding the Lions to just four second-quarter points. The Wildcats pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Lions, 10-5.
Bowen hit four 3-point shots. Korinne Talham contributed seven points for the Wildcats (2-3, 1-2).
Claire Harwood and Shanna Brooks each scored six points for Elizabethtown-Lewis.

WESTPORT — Christina Sherman scored 14 points to lead the Eagles past the Orange.
Westport (3-0), which played good team defense, led by four at halftime and then held Indian Lake/Long Lake to eight points the rest of the way.
Willa McKinley had 13 points and four steals for the Eagles, and Kalika Hopkins tossed in 12. Valentina Rodriguez chipped in seven assists.
Carli Reynolds paced the Orange with 11 points.

NORTH CREEK — Jessica Potter came up big in the fourth quarter and the Panthers held off the rallying Jaguars.
Potter scored 11 of her 17 points in the fourth.
Down by 11 at halftime, Johnsburg (2-4, 1-2) climbed back in the second half and was up by one with two minutes left in the game. But Potter helped Crown Point (2-1) pull back ahead.
Marissa Titus had 14 points for the Panthers.
Kelsey Williford led Johnsburg with 11 points and 11 steals. Brooke Guy scored nine, and Keri Cleveland had 10 rebounds.
