WAPPINGERS FALLS — Seton Catholic's Michael Champagne finished seventh, overall, in the New York Federation Championship cross-country race Saturday.
Champagne, who finished with a time of 16:14.9 for the boys, and Seton's Anna Rabideau, who finished 97th with a time of 20:40.5 for the girls, will compete in the Footlocker Northeast Regional race on Long Island next weekend.
Beekmantown's Brendan Courneene placed 70th with a time of 17:16 and Beekmantown's Bailey Weightman finished 168th at 21:48.9. 251 runners competed in the girls race and 254 ran for the boys.
North Rockland and Saratoga finished first in team competition for boys and girls, respectively.
