Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Classic league produces 2 300 games

PLATTSBURGH — Travis Shepard rolled a 300 game and finished with a 300-246-247-793 series in C.B. Snow & Yard Services' 8-7 loss to North Bowl Restaurant in the Columbia Classic at North Bowl Lanes.

Terry Brunet also tossed a 300 game to lead J.T. Mechanical to an 8.5-6.5 victory over Team #14.

Jim Varno Jr. rolled a 248-259-237-744 triple in Varno Construction's 13.5-1.5 victory over Team #17; Scott Wilson a 234-242-237-713 in Team #12's 13-2 win over Fantasy; and Jim LaDuke Sr. a 247-213-242-702 in Tina's Shear Magic Salon's 10-5 decision over Champlain Valley Engines.
