Peru sectional soccer games postponed
PERU — Today's scheduled Saranac at Peru Class B boys' soccer quarterfinal and Friday's Peru at Northeastern Clinton Class B girls' soccer quarterfinal have both been postponed. No make-up date has been announced as yet.
Ticket prices for boys' and girls' sectional soccer quarterfinals and semifinals are $2 for students and $3 for adults. The prices are $5 for both students and adults for sectional finals and $6 for both for regional games.
PYH girls to skate Saturday
PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh Youth Hockey girls program will have a skate-around on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Lake City Stars Arena.
All girls interested in playing on either the girls U10 or U12 team are asked to attend. There will also be a brief parents meeting while the girls are on the ice.
B'town Booster Club meeting postponed
BEEKMANTOWN — The Beekmantown Booster Club has cancelled its Nov. 2 meeting due to the Class B championship football game being played that night. The meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the school Library. It is open to the public. If you have any questions, please call Letitia Taylor, BBC president, at 561-4271.
Seton in need of basketball coaches
PLATTSBURGH — Seton Catholic is in need of coaches for the upcoming season in girls' basketball at the modified and varsity levels.

PYH announces starting dates, times
PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh Youth Hockey has announced starting practice dates and times for its different levels. The Learn to Skate Program is still accepting applications.
The schedule at Plattsburgh State's Stafford Ice Arena, includes: IP, Nov. 4, 6:45 p.m.; cross-ice, Nov. 1, 8 a.m.; mites, Nov. 1, 9:15 a.m.; mites/squirts, Nov. 2, 6:45 p.m.; peewees/bantams, Nov. 2, 8 p.m.; and girls U-12-U-10, Nov. 3, 7:15 p.m.

Keeseville holding basketball sign-ups
KEESEVILLE — The Keeseville Youth Commission will be holding its final sign-ups for its winter basketball program on Monday, Nov. 2 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Keeseville Civic Center. All boys and girls in grades 3-6 are eligible to sign up.
Practices will begin the week of Nov. 30, with games starting on Jan. 9. All home games and practices will be at the Keeseville Elementary School. For further information, contact Mike Finnegan at 834-7363.
