COLCHESTER, Vt. — Lindsey Frazier set a school record for kills as Saint Michael's defeated Plattsburgh State 25-12, 25-23, 25-14 in nonconference volleyball Tuesday.
Frazier led all players with 15 kills to set the Purple Knights' single-season record of 299. Lilly Lowe contributed 10 kills, and both players were over .500 in attack percentage.
Saint Michael's, a Division II program, improved to 7-18 on the season.
Kaitlyn Bakker had a team-high 11 kills for the Cardinals, and freshman Abby Mell added eight. The duo hit a collective .359, but the rest of the team was only minus-.121. For the match, Plattsburgh State attacked at .093 as a team, while St. Michael's was efficient at .327
Susan Bodkin posted a double-double for Plattsburgh State (9-22) with 20 assists and 10 digs. Chyresse Wells posted 12 digs.
