Kyle Devins (Peru/ AuSable Valley), a junior at Ithaca College, finished the 2009-10 Indoor Track and Field season as the fourth-ranked long jumper in the nation. His winning jump of 23 feet, 7½ inches at the Empire 8 championships tied the Ithaca college long jump record. That jump placed him 4th in the nation at the Division III level as he finished the season one-half inch behind third-ranked Buzzy Brown of Carthage College (23-8) and 1½ inches behind second-place Stephen Morton of MIT ( 23' 9"). Devins automatically qualified for nationals, but was unable to compete due to a hamstring injury that cut short his indoor season.

Football
Junior wide receiver Thomas Vossler (Loon Lake/Saranac Lake) was named Ithaca College's Outstanding Back for the 2009 season. A second-team Empire 8 all-star, Vossler caught a team-high 51 passes while his 14.4 yards per catch and eight touchdowns led the team as well.

Vossler already ranks 10th all-time at Ithaca with 92 career catches. His 4.4 catches per game is a school record.

Vossler will enter his senior season eight receptions away from becoming the seventh Bomber to catch 100 passes and 40 shy of the school record held by Abe Ceesay (131 from 1996 to 1999). With 1,267 receiving yards, Vossler ranks 16th (87 yards from 10th) and his nine touchdown catches leave him one short of becoming the 17th Bomber to reach double figures.
