Gravel leads unbeaten Huskies

---- — MALONE — Sophomore Bridget Gravel captured four firsts and Kaylie Lamica turned in her best time in the 400-meter hurdles this season to lead the Franklin Academy Huskies to a 205-87 victory over the Salmon River Shamrocks Thursday in Northern Athletic Conference girls' track & field.

Gravel swept the 100- and 200-meter dashes and also won the long and triple jumps for the Huskies (8-0).

The Gadway sisters once again went 1-2 in the throws with Ashley winning the shot put and Amber taking the discus.

Kaitlin Patenaude won the high jump for Salmon River (1-8).

POTSDAM — The Potsdam Sandstoners swept the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks Wednesday in NAC track & field.

Bryan Geiger was a double winner for the Tupper Lake boys.

Kyla Kenyon was a four-time winner and Amanda Moeller and Hannah Klossner triple winners for the Lumberjack girls.
