---- — SCHROON LAKE — Olivia Seymour tossed in 17 points and Chazy outlasted Schroon Lake, 30-27, in Mountain & Valley Athletic Conference girls' basketball Thursday night.

Megan Reynolds added 10 points for Chazy.

Schroon Lake, which led by one point at the half, got off a 3-pointer in the closing seconds, but it missed.

Gabe Harvey scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Wildcats, while Kiana Fiore added a team-high 10 rebounds.

"It was close all the way through," Schroon Lake coach Rich Hall said. "We played really good defense. It was a back-and-forth game. Seymour played a heck of a game.

"We rebounded well and didn't turn the ball over. It was probably the best overall we've played all year in a loss."
