Adams Turkey Trot
set for Nov. 22
PERU — The 35th-Annual John P. Adams Memorial Turkey Trot, hosted by the Peru Lions Club, will be held Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 22. The one-mile fun run/walk will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the 5- and 10-kilometer races at 9 a.m.
Runners can pre-register by going to the perulionsclubnewyork.org Web site and clicking on “Register for Events.” Select Turkey Trot and choose one of the two registration/payment options.
Same-day registration will be from 7:30-8:15 a.m. at the Peru Intermediate School gym. Entry fee is $15 for the 5-10K events if you register before Monday, Nov. 19. On race day, the fee is $20. The one-mile fun run/walk fee is $5.
Runners will be able to register and pick up bib numbers on Nov. 21, from 4-7 p.m., at the Peru Intermediate School.
Trophies will be awarded to the male and female winners of the 5 and 10K races.
