Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Munson's 698 keeps Eagles unbeaten

PLATTSBURGH — Five Beekmantown boys, powered by Ryan Munson’s 215-239-244-698, rolled 600 or better series on Friday as the Eagles remained unbeaten in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling with a 10-0 blanking of Peru at North Bowl Lanes.

Matt Dwyer added a 223-237-656 triple, Matt Corrow a 289-654, Ryan Douglas a 203-209-214-626 and Andrew Roberts a 214-215-607 for the Eagles (40-0).

Jonathan Bowman had the lone 600 for the Indians with a 202-221-608, while Kyle Mendofik added a 233 game and Dylon Bridges a 228.

For the girls, Paedyn Mattioli’s 202-228-614 series led Beekmantown (15-1) to a 3-1 victory. Taylor Lavalley added a 200-213-596 triple and Harley Wells a 190-192-558 for the Eagles.

Brittany Bushey rolled a 244 game and 607 series for Peru, while Morgan Reyell added a 192 game.

TICONDEROGA — Howard Fuller rolled a 225-225-589 series and Konner Bruce added a 189-178-189-556 triple at Adirondack Lanes as the Ticonderoga boys (38-12) blanked the Chiefs.

Chris Fall paced Saranac with a 484 series and Matt Fall added a personal-best 176 game.

For the girls, the Sentinels (20-0) remained unbeaten as Jordan McKee tossed a 189 game and 519 series, while Jeanette Coon added a 179 game and 486 triple.

Alissa Aquila rolled a 168 game and 392 series for the Chiefs.

AUSABLE FORKS — Mike McDonald continued to put up big scores as he tossed a 267-219-206-692 series at Riverside Lanes to lead the AuSable Valley boys (39-11) to a shutout.

Josh Taylor added a 566 triple and Charlie Lacy a 209 game for the Patriots.

Dakota Latford rolled a 174 game and 457 series for the Warriors.

Gabi Yeager’s 188 game and 499 triple paced the Willsboro girls to their shutout. Marissa Prentiss had the high scores for AuSable Valley with a 149 game and 429 triple.

Tanner Conley tossed a 168 game and Dillon Adkins a 411 series for the Vikings’ top scores.

Brianna Smith rolled a 146 game and 420 series to pace NCCS to a shutout in the girls’ match. Nikki French had a 129-349 for Moriah.

Shania Sutton’s 214 game and 537 series, and Chelis Rando’s 200, powered the Chateaugay girls to their shutout. Emily Rohrig’s 442 series was high for the Hornets.
