WEST PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh Wholesale/Big Earl’s/Buck’s has managed to pull away to a 1½ games lead in the second half of the A Division standings in the Adirondack Slo-Pitch Softball League.
The division leaders sport a 12-2 record in the second half, with T. Maliniak Masonry in second place at 11-4. Kneucraft Fine Jewelry & Design is another ½-game off the pace at 11-5, while Legion Post 1619 follows a 10-5 as every game in the A Division in a battle night in and night out.
The B Division race is also a good one, with G & G Tire, at 12-3, holding a ½-game lead over Handy Dan D. Home Improvement, which is 12-4.
Loreman’s/Cadyville Auto is third with an 11-5 record and Latinville’s/CV Fitness follows at 10-5.
In the C Division, Shumway Insurance remains the only undefeated team in the second half with a 12-0 mark.
Wendy’s/Richard’s Grocery is the next nearest pursuer, three games off the pace with a 10-3 record.
