Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

PLATTSBURGH — The Seton Catholic boys' and girls' cross country teams both earned sweeps in a three-team Champlain Valley Athletic Conference meet featuring Plattsburgh High and Saranac Lake Friday at the Plattsburgh State Field House.

Mitchell Ryan finished first in the boys' race in a time of 16:12, followed closely by Plattsburgh High's Jeriqho Gadway in 16:20.

The Knights got a third-place finish from Barrett Waling. Chris Bower took fifth, and Evan Paige took seventh as they edged the Hornets, 24-31.

Borge Wiik finished fourth for Plattsburgh High, which earned a win over Saranac Lake. Keenan Hunt-Stone took sixth to aid the cause.

Chris Willett took 12 to lead the Red Storm.

Margaret Champagne won another race for the Seton Catholic girls' team, finishing in 18:59. Not far behind her was Plattsburgh High's Emma Deshaies, who finished in 19:10. The top two runners finished more than a minute ahead of the next runner.

Phoebe Christopher took third for the Knights, with teammates Melissa Whyman and Maddy Munn taking fifth and sixth, respectively.

Elena Beideck led the Red Storm to a win over the Hornets by finishing fourth. Teammates Zoe Tyler (eighth) and Jacinda Riggs (10th) gave Saranac Lake three runners in the top 10.
