PLATTSBURGH — Billy Davis and Mike Bergman combined to pitch five scoreless innings Thursday and the Meron's/Renzi's Expos recorded a 4-1 win over Brockway Mechanical in nonleague baseball action at Chip Cummings Field.
Davis went the first three innings and Bergman the next two to pick up the win.
Justin Mahan, Casey Brighton, Mark Passino and Diavalo Fletcher all rapped out two singles each for the Expos, with Passino driving in a run and Mahan scoring twice. Logan Recor added a RBI single.
Richard Chase, Jeff Norton and Ben Weightman had doubles for Brockway Mechanical, which included four players from the Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres. Kevin Russell drove in Brockway's lone run with a single in the sixth.
Matt Rivers took the loss.
Brockway hosts St. Albans, Vt. in a doubleheader today at Lefty Wilson Field.
