Chevy Pro Night to be held Saturday
PLATTSBURGH — Chevy Pro Night, hosted by Bill McBride Chevrolet, will take place from 4-6 p.m. Saturday.
The event will feature appearances by Chevy Team anglers Luke Clausen, Anthony Gagliardi, Dion Hibdon, Jimmy Houston, Larry Nixon, Bryan Thrift and Jay Yelas.
The Chevy anglers will be signing autographs, answering questions and posing for photos with fans in attendance for the two-hour event.
Fans in attendance will have the chance to view the anglers’ FLW Chevy Suburbans and show off their casting skills in the FLW casting game. Food and drink will be provided and fans can register onsite for the opportunity to win FLW hats, rod and reel combos and other prizes. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing to win.
Bowl Mart league start times
CHAMPLAIN — The Thursday night adult/student summer league at Bowl Mart will start June 28 at 7:30 p.m. The Friday night fun league will begin June 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Stick ‘n’ puck, public skating scheduled
PLATTSBURGH — Ameri-Can North Sports Center will host stick ‘n’ puck on Friday from 7:30-9 p.m. and Sunday from 3:45-5:15 p.m.
Public skating will also be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Sunday.
Bessette-Agnew first in archery contest
MANSFIELD, Mass. — Brandon Bessette-Agnew, 18, of Plattsburgh takes another first-place finish at the Ace Archers Outdoor Cup this past weekend.
Bessette-Agnew shot a double Federation of International Target Archery round of 72 arrows each day for two days at a distance 50 meters. Bessette-Agnew took first place in the Junior Mens division for the second year in a row at this event. Bessette-Agnew is sponsored by Martin Archery and shoots for Adirondack Archery in Saranac.
CVPH 5K Run/Walk results announced
PLATTSBURGH — The CVPH 5K Run/Walk held June 16 at the Wellness Center at PARC raised about $2,000 for the Families Helping Families Fund.
The Families Helping Families Fund is held by the Foundation of CVPH and provides essential travel packs to families in an emergency situation at CVPH who need to be transferred to another facility for specialized care.
The fund was established by the Evans Family of Plattsburgh who experienced a similar situation after the birth of their daughter. The family assembles the kits that include cash, small toiletries, a calling card, and information about where to get further travel assistance.

Craumer Memorial tourney July 14
PLATTSBURGH — The local community and family of Ernest “Dutch” Craumer will be hosting the upcoming second annual memorial golf tournament. The tournament takes place on July 14 at Bluff Point Golf Course. Registration starts at 7 a.m. and a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
The cost of the four-person scramble is $70 per person or $280 per team. Fees include 18 holes with cart and a BBQ lunch. Participants will enjoy prizes awarded to the first, second and third place teams, closest pin, longest drive and 16th hole challenge. Golfers may also choose to purchase mulligans.

Tail O’ The Pup Cup set for Tuesday
SARANAC LAKE — The 23rd Annual Tail O’ The Pup Cup will take place Tuesday, June 26, at the Saranac Inn.
The tournament is a two-person scramble with tee times starting at 11 a.m. and a combined handicap of 20. Entry fee is $85 per person. Cash prizes will be awarded and a steak dinner will follow.
