Pellerin wrestling tournament Saturday
BEEKMANTOWN — The 4th-Annual Eric H. Pellerin Memorial Wrestling Tournament will be held Saturday at Beekmantown Central High School beginning at 9 a.m.
The tournament raises money for the scholarship fund in Pellerin's name. Participating schools include Deering, Me., Essex Junction, Vt., Spaulding, Vt., Whitehall, Saranac and host Beekmantown.
Mudhens basketball tournament Sunday
MORRISONVILLE — The second of three C.R. Tunes Mudhens Six-Foot and Under Basketball Tournaments of the season will be played Sunday at Morrisonville Elementary School. The public is invited to watch the games.
Teams in the Gold Division include T. Maliniak Masonry, Handy Dan D. Home Improvement and Jim Lincoln Construction, Pool and Spa. In the Green Division are Stratton Gang, Producers and Team Williams.

Maliniak Masonry vs. Stratton Gang. 4 p.m.- Jim Lincoln Construction, Pool and Spa vs. Team Williams. 5 p.m.- mini-playoffs. 5:30 p.m.- semifinals, first place in the Green Division vs. second place in the Gold Division. 6:30 p.m.- semifinals, first place in the Gold Division vs. second place in the Green Division. 7:30 p.m.- championship game.
PYH board meeting set for Jan. 7
PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh Youth Hockey will be having its next board meeting on Wednesday, January 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Clinton County Government Center in Plattsburgh. This meeting is open to the public.
Willsboro seeks lifeguard, WSI candidates
WILLSBORO — The Willsboro Youth Commission, in accordance with the Town of Willsboro, is looking for interested candidates for lifeguarding and Water Safety Instructor for the summer of 2009. Individuals must be certified lifeguards and WSI is needed if interested in Waterfront Director.

Soccer United planning U8 indoor team
PLATTSBURGH — Soccer United Premier is looking to start a U8 indoor program for all boys and girls 8 and under. It will be offering practice once a week along with entry into the City of Plattsburgh Indoor Soccer Session 2.
