CLINTONVILLE — Plattsburgh High won four races and finished first in the team standings at Tuesday's Relay Carnival swimming competition.
The Hornets earned 50 points to beat AuSable Valley by six. Malone's Franklin Academy finished with 40 points.
Josh West was part of Plattsburgh's winning teams in the 300-yard medley, 300 butterfly and 300 breaststroke. Larry Harney joined West on the medley and butterfly teams. Mitch Kilkeary rounded out the medley squad, Hamzah Qudsi helped win the butterfly and Ryan Bracey and Brian Goodell completed the breaststroke team.
Gurav Sheni, Mitch Maggy, Kagen Trombley and Jacob Morrow formed the winning squad in the 200 medley race for first-year competitors.
Nathan Muzzy was part of both of AuSable Valley's winning teams — in the 200 freestyle and the 500 crescendo.
Malone's Tyler Spillane, Sam Moore and Myles Schanck teamed to finish first in the 600 freestyle, and all three swimmers had three wins on the day.
