TNA wrestler to be at fundraiser tonight
PLATTSBURGH -- Consequences Creed, TNA wrestling star, will be at Music N More in Champlain Centres North today, from 6-8 p.m., to meet wrestling fans and sign autographs. All proceeds from the autograph session will go to the benefit of the Melody and David Lafountain family of Keeseville, whose triplets were stricken with cerebral palsy.

Barracks Fall Classic slated for Saturday
PLATTSBURGH -- The Barracks Golf Course will hold its Fall Classic Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. A few openings remain with entries closing Friday. It is a three-person modified scramble with a minimum handicap of 34.

Youth players invited to meet Cardinals
PLATTSBURGH -- The Clinton County Youth Bureau will sponsor a "Meet the Cardinals" soccer event on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the SUNY Plattsburgh Field House complex. The game starts at 1 p.m. and features the Plattsburgh State men taking on the Oneonta State Red Dragons.
Youths attending the game are encouraged to wear their team jersey. The first 50 youths to attend with their team jersey will receive a "Go Cards" wrist band. Autographs from the players will be available after the game.
All youths must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call the Clinton County Youth Bureau, at 565-4750.

The first game starts at 4 p.m. and features the Clinton Community College women taking on the Mohawk Valley Community College Hawks. The men's game will follow at 6 p.m.

Pumpkin Run slated for Saranac Lake
SARANAC LAKE -- The Pumpkin Run, sponsored by High Peaks Cyclery for the benefit of the Saranac Lake Skatepark, will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, starting at 8:30 a.m. from Mount Pisgah Ski Lodge.
There will be 5K and 10K runs, a 5K walk and a children's fun run.
