CADYVILLE "" An even 100 runners turned out Wednesday for the final Heart Smart Series run of the season.
Some familiar races showed up for the 5K as Matt Medeiros won easily and then turned around and timed the rest of the runners.
Mary Kate Champagne, back from training in Colorado, showed why she is one of the top runners in the nation by finishing third overall in 18:14.
Kurt Ouellette edged out Evan Ohlsten in the quarter mile, Luke Maye won the half mile and Jesse Thew, 11, once again won the mile race in 7:29.
Runners finishing three out of the five weekly runs received a Heart Smart t-shirt.
