WEST PLATTSBURGH — The first half of the Sons of the American Legion/Adirondack Slo-Pitch Softball League regular season is nearly complete and teams have already being divided into A and B Divisions for the second half of play.
Coors Light finished a perfect 19-0 in the first half and leads the way in the A Division.
R.S. Forgette Builders/Morrow’s One-Stop, with one first-half game remaining, has been nearly perfect at 17-1.
World Warehouse (15-3), J & M Snacks (13-3) and Norm Baker & Sons/Post 1619 (13-5) round out the top five in the A Division.
Leading the way in the B Division are the Bandag Brewers at 9-9, followed by Leroux’s Transport at 8-10.
There are some make-up games still to be played and the second half of the season will begin on Friday, with 10 teams in each of the A and B Divisions.

MALONE — H & R Block won its only game of the week to run its unbeaten record to 10-0 in the Malone Amvets Gentlemen’s Slo-Pitch Softball League.
Leo’s Tavern, meanwhile, picked up two victories to improve to 11-1, while McClain’s Construction was also a winner in its lone contest to move to 8-2.
