MALONE — The Franklin Academy boys' swimming picked up their first two wins of the season knocking off Plattsburgh High and Gouverneur Friday night.
The Huskies which have tied and lost to the Hornets finally got the victory they needed. Plattsburgh High defeated Franklin Academy earlier in the week 92-75.
The Huskies defeated the Hornets 53-41 and defeated the Wildcats 57-34.
Tyler Spillane finished first in the 100 backstroke and helped the 200 medley relay and also took second in the 200 freestyle and Myles Schanck earned first in the 500 freestyle and in the 200 medley relay to propell the Huskies to victory.
Sam Moore, Corey Parsons were also members of the 200 medley relay team for Malone.
Larry Harney earned two first place finishes for the Hornets in the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly and Brian Goodell placed first in the 100 breaststroke.
