Boys’ Section VII vs. X Challenge moved back to Friday
PLATTSBURGH — The Larry Cowan Section VII vs. X Challenge for boys’ basketball, originally scheduled for today at the Plattsburgh State Field House, has been pushed back to Friday due to inclement weather.
There will be six games at the Field House Friday, starting at 11:30 a.m. and ending following the 7 p.m. contest. Instead of four quarters, games will consist of 16-minute halves. The admission price is $5 for the day.
All junior varsity games will be held at Seton Catholic Central School, one and a half hours prior to the varsity game. For example, the Tupper Lake vs. Ticonderoga jvs will play at 10 a.m., at Seton Catholic, while the Tupper Lake-Ticonderoga varsity game is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., at the Field House.
The Section VII vs. X Challenge then moves to SUNY Potsdam’s Jerry Welsh Gymnasium Saturday, with six more games. The first contest begins at 11:30 a.m. the final one at 7 p.m.
