NORTH CREEK — Jesse Shaughnessy had his second straight triple-double with 17 points, 10 assists, 11 rebounds and six steals as Schroon Lake cruised past Johnsburg, 70-34, in Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference boys' basketball Monday.
Ian Williams scored a game-high 19 points for the 14th ranked Wildcats (13-1, 12-0), who won their tenth in a row. Jeffry Armstrong chipped in with 14 points.
Schroon Lake held the MVAC's leading scorer Taylor Ordway, currently averaging 25.5 points per game, to nine points and 12 rebounds. Chet Prouty led the way for the Jaguars (6-6, 5-5) with 12 points.

LAKE PLACID — The Blue Bombers used a strong second half to comeback and defeat the Orange.
Lake Placid (6-7, 5-6) fell behind 15-2 after the first quarter, but outscored Indian Lake/Long Lake (1-8, 1-7) 41-19 the rest of the way.
"We outscored them 25-10 in the second half," Blue Bombers coach Brenden Gotham said. "It was a tale of two halves. We switched defenses from zone to man-to-man and we outscored them 16-9 in the second quarter and played really well in the second half."
Logan Stephenson and Jacob Daniels each scored 18 points to lead the charge for Lake Placid.
Matt Moore paced Indian Lake/Long Lake with 13 points.

TICONDEROGA — Kasey Favreau tallied 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Chiefs over the Sentinels.
Ticonderoga (6-7, 5-6) held a 14-12 lead after the first quarter, but Saranac (9-5, 8-4) quickly regained the lead with a 20-1 second quarter advantage.
Jeremy Bullis chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds for the Chiefs. Jake Liberty added 10 points and Ben Weightman finished with eight.
Nate Lenhart led the Sentinels with 12 points. Joe Gonyeau and Doug Wilson each chipped in with eight points.

PLATTSBURGH — Keegan Ryan powered the Eagles with a 42 points.
The Knights built a 10-point lead after the first quarter and led 28-25 in the first half.
But the Eagles responded by outscoring Seton Catholic 25-16 in the third quarter to grab control.
Dylan Riley knocked down three triples to added nine points for Beekmantown (6-9, 6-6), which has won three straight.
Carson Hynes scored a team-high 17 points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks for the Knights (5-10, 2-9). Carlos Alvarez added 10 points and 14 rebounds, and Adam Tedford had 14 points. Keagen Briggs dished out eight assists and had five points.
