CYH monthly meeting Thursday
CHAZY — Chazy Youth Hockey will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Scotts Rink.
PSU holding 'Stuff Stafford' Wednesday
PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh State women's hockey team invites fans to "Stuff Stafford for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta" on Wednesday, Feb. 8, as the Cardinals host the Norwich Cadets.
Game time is set for 7 p.m. at the Stafford Ice Arena. All proceeds from the event will benefit Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a summer camp for children with cancer located in South Hero, Vt.
Members of the Cardinal women's team will take the ice in a special edition jersey for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta. The jerseys, which have been provided by Della Honda, are only available for purchase through an online auction, which is now open for bidding at gocardinalsports.com.
All fans in attendance will have the chance to win a number of free giveaways throughout the night. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for some great prizes including two round-trip tickets from Direct Air for service from Plattsburgh to Myrtle Beach, S.C., Orlando/Lakeland, Fla. or Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, Fla. Certain travel restrictions may apply.

Boise gets snowboard gold
WILMINGTON — Josh Boise, 13, of Plattsburgh, took home gold with a score of 8.67 in the slopestyle snowboard boys' 13-15 scholastic division at the Empire State Winter Games over the weekend. He finished fourth in the snowboard boys 13-16 scholastic time trials.
Titus Mountain offering skiing deal
TUPPER LAKE — With the 2011-2012 ski season creating challenges for the Big Tupper Ski Area, Titus Mtn. Ski Area will offer any Big Tupper seasons pass holder a day ticket for $10 for the remainder of the season.
Titus Mtn. is located in the Northern Foothills of the Adirondacks, just south of Malone.
