SOUTH PLATTSBURGH — Round three of the USA/Canada Masters Limited Late Model Series tops the Airborne card tonight on Della Auto Group/Culligan Water Technology Night.
More than a dozen competitors from Autodrome St-Eustache are expected, including Series point leader Maxime Pelletier of Mascouche, QC and Sebastien Joseph of Terrebonne, QC.
Joseph won the second event of the series at Autodrome St-Eustache. Pelletier won the opener at Airborne on May 12.
Airborne regulars Jamy Begor, Robin Wood and Bucko Branham currently sixth, seventh and ninth respectively in the series standings.
Third spot in the six-race series standings belongs to Martin Goulet of Mascouche, QC. Goulet placed 5th at Airborne in round one and was the runner-up in the first Quebec event.
Branham has been on a tear of late in the Econo Lodge/Casella No. 20 with four wins and the J&S Steel Limited Late Model championship point lead. Tonight’s event is scheduled for 50 green flag laps.
Also on tap, the Ernie’s Discount Tools DIRTcar Modifieds, Renegades, Sportsman Modifieds and Mini Modifieds. Last week, Pat McGrail of Candiac, QC added his name to the list of 2012 Modified feature winners, joining George Foley, point leader Todd Stone, Aaron Bartemy, Patrick Dupree and Pierre Berthiaume.
Grandstands open today at 4 p.m. Qualifying heats begin at 6 p.m. Adult admission is $13/adults, kids ages 12 and under admitted free.
