Girls’ HS hockey meeting Thursday

PLATTSBURGH — There will be a meeting for parents of all girls who may be interested in playing high school hockey in the 2012-13 season at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, at Ameri-Can North Sports Center.

The meeting is open to those who will be in grades 9 through 12 from all Clinton County High Schools who are planning on playing on the girls’ high school team.

Stick-n-puck, public skating announced

PLATTSBURGH — Ameri-Can North Sports Center will hold stick-n-puck on Friday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m.

Public skating will also be held from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

Volleyball league slated for July 2 start

SARANAC — The Champlain Valley Summer Volleyball League begins Monday, July 2, at Saranac Central gym.

Play three courts from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday nights for seven weeks. The cost will be $30 and includes a T-shirt.

High school players entering grades 8-12 are welcome. Contact your high school coach or Vickie McMillan at vmcmillan@plattcsd.org.

Sign-ups will also take place prior to the start of play July 2.
