Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

CANTON — Morgan Marlow won three events Friday night to lead the Franklin Academy boys' track and field team to a first-place finish at a Section X meet at St. Lawrence University.

The Huskies ended up with 165 points, with Ogdensburg Free Academy a distant second with 112.5.

Marlow combined with Brennan Gervais, Rourk Marlow and Corey Lamere to win the 4x800 relay in 8:40.6, won the 1600 in 4:32.1 and the 1000 in 2:46.6.

Other Franklin Academy winners included Doug Fitzgerald with a 1:28.7 in the 600, Lamere with a 10:30.0 in the 3,200 and Mike Sharrow with a 43-7 in the shot put.

FA girls second

Canton won the girls' team competition with 152.5 points, while Franklin Academy placed second with 110 and Tupper Lake fifth with 39.

The Huskies' 4x800 relay team of Brandy Allen, Emily Hutchins, Morgan Bronner and Rebekkah Bond took first in 10:29.3.

Also placing first for the Huskies were Kylee Disotelle with a 9.3 in the 55 hurdles and Bond with a 1:45.8. in the 600 to become a double-winner.

Finishing in first place for Tupper Lake were Samantha Ormsby with a 30-10 in the triple jump and Hannah Klossner a 4-10 in the high jump.
