Must grow up
TO THE EDITOR: Amen, to Joseph E. Bruno’s letter in your newspaper. He is right. Those “birthers” and Christian conservationers blaming everything on our president, for his predecessor’s shortcomings.
Even though our economy is still in shambles, it is affected by those “still-at-home” youngsters who have their four-letter words mixed up. They think that W-O-R-K stands for P-L-A-Y. This “Me-Me” generation should grow up and cut the cord.
Mr. Bruno and Harold Brohinsky have a lot in common. They tell it like it is. It is what it is.
God bless America.

Supporting Bikers
TO THE EDITOR: The CV-TEC Security and Law Enforcement Academy comprises students interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.
Retired New York State Trooper Bob Cronin recently spoke with our class about the Tour De Force, which was founded after members of the New York Police Department decided to ride their bikes to honor the fallen police officers who gave their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
The Tour De Force has made it their mission to raise funds for families of police officers killed in the line of duty each year, nationwide. Each September, law-enforcement officers from around the country and abroad cycle 265 miles along the East Coast.
Each rider participates in raising funds to support this event. The students in our program have the utmost respect for law enforcement officers. They would like to join their ranks someday.
In honor of those who make the ultimate sacrifice, we encourage the members of our community to support this cause.
To make a donation to support Bob Cronin log onto the website www.tourdeforceny.com and donate through the secure server using a credit card or send a check or money order to: Tour De Force, P.O.
